So many good times in Boracay...
We all went on a glass bottom boat trip together. It was perfect weather and so much fun.
Ty and Jonas liked riding on top of the boat so they could see the full view.

Snorkeling was so amazing here! Tyson LOVED to snorkel and he was the last one to climb out of the water when it was time to head back.
Here we are on the way to the snorkeling point. It was really cool because whenever we would pass over a coral reef the driver would go really slow so we could see all the sea life below the boat.

One night my friend Lori bought a lobster (for a lot more than we thought it would be... but that's another story). She had it grilled for her husband. But what I didn't know is that lobsters scream when they are grilled. I actually didn't even know it had been alive until it started screaming. Well, poor little Tyson found this traumatizing and burst into tears, yelling, "Mom! Mom! Why are they killing it?! They are killing it! We need to put it back in the water mom!" He is a loud and very energetic little guy on the outside, but he has a big heart and is so sensitive on the inside. I was torn between laughing at his very dramatic reaction and feeling a bit horrified myself.
Tyson got really brave climbing the wall and almost made it up to the top to ring the bell!

This was the last house we stayed in. We stayed with 2 other families of friends and it was so much fun.

Savvy was in heaven having her best friend Annabelle there to play with constantly for 5 days. And check out the view. This is what we saw out the windows of the home. Amazing. We so want to move there!
The kids had so much fun in the house together. The boys found a little lizard inside and thought that was pretty cool.

Savvy and Tyson loved jumping on this bungee trampoline. Savvy was timid at first and spent more time looking at the operater and yelling at him not to make it go higher than she did jumping the first time. But by the 3rd time she did it, she was not afraid.
Tyson of course was fearless. He was jumping all the way up to the trees and doing flips!
The sandcastles on the beach were amazing!
Savvy got her hair braided twice. Once at the beginning of the trip and again at the end. I wish I could do her hair like that! It only takes them about 20 minutes too!

We walked down to some "off the beaten path" beach. It was a lovely walk and kind of a fun adventure,
but the beach wasn't really good for swimming. So we played on the rocks and headed back.
This was the pool at the 2nd place we stayed. Unfortunately those 3 days were the coolest of the trip, so the pool didn't get too much use.
Puka Beach. This was a huge, beautiful private beach that only our resort - Alta Vista - had access to. It was fun because it had bigger waves than white beach and almost NO people. The sand wasn't quite as nice, and there was NO WAY back though. We had to tell the shuttle driver when to come get us, and once he was super late and we thought we'd be stranded for hours!

Here is our lego Indiana Jones pinata after it was smacked and broken... and before the rush for the goodies! (If you wonder where I live, you're looking at it, right behind the pinata is our building.)
We didn't have wrapping paper, so David and Savanna got creative. This was much more entertaining for him anyway. Who needs wrapping paper when you have an artist and a budding artist in the family?
Ty is really into legos now, and this lego castle (actually fake "lego", but who can tell the difference) was SO very cool. Unfortunately a picture of the finished product isn't available because one of the kids at the party smashed it! Sad day for Dave who really did most of the work, but Ty took it really well. One day it will be built again.

And this little Savvy girl just loves her big brother and looks up to him so much. His major progress in reading has motivated her to start learning too, and she's only 4!
Of course the kids had to get a pic with the cheesey tiger, but it is China - the capitol of all things cheesey (unless you are referring to REAL CHEESE - like the kind made with milk, because THAT kind of cheese they are lacking in... yes, they have it all backwards. At least the tiger wasn't doing a goofy "jazz hands" dance this time).
